What we do

StainShield fluorocarbon products offer the best possible protection to all fibres and fabrics. Recently updated and radically improved StainShield protectors are independently tested by Satra, achieve outstanding oil and water repellency to the AATCC test as well as fully complying to BS EN24940.

With chemical formulations manufactured in accordance with ISO 9002 the option of our three different products caters for all new furnishings, whether they be silks, sisals, nylon or Nubuck. The re-protection of freshly cleaned items again covers the whole spectrum from domestic to heavy commercial.

Complimenting these StainShield protectors are two products by Allergy Shield (Actigard), the highly durable solution to dust mites, mould, bacteria and their allergens. Once applied to either new or freshly cleaned furnishings Actigard will kill any existing infestation and will be permanently resistant to normal daily maintenance or dry cleaning programmes. Any retreatments would only be recommended after commercial hot water extraction process. Independently tested in Switzerland, Actigard is effective on all fibres (including polypropelene) and in normally spray applied. Actigard is either supplied on its own or as a combination product with StainShield (H.S.) water based protector.
